SYNOPSIS

It is several years since the devastation of The World Trade Centre on 11th September 2001. Now an even more sinister attack is about to happen in the western world. An even more terrifying threat is about to be exposed…

Daniel Newton is a van driver. For nearly ten years he has crossed through Europe into Turkey to pick up goods and bring them back to England on a regular basis. Mostly it is rugs, leather goods and fine cloth that he brings back and he always has the correct paperwork.

Dieter Zussman arrived in the UK several years ago. Ostensibly from the Jewish community in Israel he owns a couple of small Jewellery shops in Reigate and Dorking. He imports expensive-looking items such as bracelets, bangles and watches from the East. Two years earlier he was put in touch with Daniel Newton and now uses him to import his jewellery.

Lying dormant in the UK for several years, waiting to strike, are two cells of an extremist Islamic movement. Waiting, plotting, scheming, knowing that one day the time will be right to inflict a terror attack on mainland UK that is devastating and irreversible.

Now, as the story begins, the time is right, but unknown to the terrorists a secret group known as ATRIUM (an acronym for Anti-Terrorist Research Infiltration and Undercover Manoeuvres) is working to stop the unthinkable from happening.

Add to the playing field a lone wolf who is out for revenge against the powers he feels have badly treated him, a man with the skills and contacts needed to inflict his own brand of terror against the country he grew up in. A new terror is coming and it is up to ATRIUM to move quickly to stop the impending wave of death, even as it spreads across Europe on its way to the UK.

SYNOPSIS

With just nine days until Halloween, Skullface wakes in his unmarked grave. He forces his way out and begins to question why he was there, who he is, what did he do to be buried in such a place.

The Isle of Wight is a reasonably large place. There are many secluded corners which is just as well. Skullface needs them to kill, to drink the blood and eat the flesh to ‘survive’. He justifies this by argument; the two sides of his mind are in constant battle.

As Halloween draws closer, so Skullface’s memories become clearer and he gets ever closer to remembering the reason for his death, his dysfunctional family and very strange life. He backs off from it many times but knows that if he is to permanently die, which is what he wants, he has to confront his past.

When Halloween finally arrives, he makes the last walk to his home…

SYNOPSIS

The internet is a wonderful place to explore fantasies. But when an innocent young woman began to pursue her on-line interests in real life, the results ended up being deadly. Was what happened to her a crime or just a game that went too far?

That’s the question that Detectives Barbara Moore and Stan Goldman try to answer. They are the perfect pair to take on this case, since they like to play games of dominance and submission themselves. They set up a sting operation in which Barbara Moore is more than willing bait. What they find exposes a dark world of sex, slavery and domination.

SYNOPSIS

In 1971 there were only three ways out of the soul-crushing, abject poverty of the Jersey City shithole of a slum they called the Duncan Avenue Federal Housing Project; prison, the military or the likely end to both – death.

In the spirit of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Billy Chance had a dream: to become a doctor.

All he’d have to do is finish high school, (something no one else in his family had ever done before), find a shit load of money, (something else no one else in his family had ever done), and get accepted to college, something no one . . . well you get the idea. After that of course he’d have to find a shit load more money, get accepted to med school and graduate.

Fortunately there was an answer to all his problems; sign up to be a Navy corpsman and volunteer for LBJ’s little party down in the South Pacific called the Viet Nam War.

Politically Erect is a novel dealing with the lighter side of mutilation, death, genocide, widespread political corruption, international conflict and potential global destruction. It’s a fiction based on actual experiences with fictionally informed political leaders who were artificially qualified to wage real war and features actual dead people.

You know, a comedy.

You can't fool all the people all of the time.
But if you do, it usually only lasts for four years.

SYNOPSIS

Troy lay in burning ruins, her proud king Priam and his court slain. The Greek fleet under victorious Agamemnon, king of great Mycenae, sets sail for home, their vessels burdened with loot, the prize of ten year’s hardship and siege before the city walls. A storm strikes but its passing finds the ships of his ally, Odysseus, king of Ithaca, gone.

Ten years pass and Odysseus’ wife Penelope, beset by ruthless suitors intent upon gaining his kingdom, still insists her husband will return. The suitors are closing in. Some plan to destroy Telemachus, Penelope’s son of twenty years, born the very month before his father left for Troy. What must Telemachus do?

He sets sail to discover the fate of his father, meets great danger on land, finds romance, is ambushed at sea but having faced death, learns little of Odysseus.

The gods have their ways and father and son will meet in the strangest of circumstances. But what wonderful, what bizarre and cruel tales will Odysseus, now reduced to the status of a beggar, relate to account for those missing ten years? How is his kingdom to be regained in the face of such menacing odds?

Plans must be laid. There must be violent confrontation. There must be much bloodshed. But even that may not be the end.

SYNOPSIS

Lieutenant Harold Tecumseh Anderson is watching a very attractive data tech in the reflective face of her computer monitor. Suddenly the face he sees isn’t hers, but a stranger – a mirror-walker who is entering the room through the monitor’s mirror-like surface. Harold immediately knows that this is a mirror-walker because he met one once, David Malone, when they rescued the First Lady from kidnappers. An undetectable someone has been stealing secrets from the most protected and secure vault in the world, the United States data storage facility deep under Shangri-la mountain and Harold now knows who can stop them.

David Malone, mirror-walker from Plain City, Iowa, and Chi, mirror walker from Penglai, Shandong, China, are once again called upon to use their special talents for the peace and security of the world. But this time, they are not walking in the mirror to track down corrupt arms dealers or government officials. They must defeat one of their own. There is a rogue mirror-walker, aided by a ruthless mercenary, who must be stopped before he helps unleash chaos and possibly war in the world.

The rogue is well-trained and highly-skilled. It quickly becomes obvious that he has killed before in the mirror and will kill David and Chi if he has the chance. Twice, he almost defeats them. In the end, David must face him alone in a battle to the death.

There are no weapons in the mirror, and only one way to kill a mirror-walker. True death occurs only if a mirror-walker enters– or is forced into– the Place of Chaos and Fire that exists outside the mirror bubble. When David and the rogue meet for the last time, the final outcome of their struggle is clear to both of them. One of them will be thrown across the barrier to become food for the Dogs of Chaos.

But will it be the rogue?.. or David?.. or perhaps both?

SYNOPSIS

Could the South have won the Civil War? This question has been asked and answered affirmatively dozens of times. But how likely was it, in reality? Now Andrew J. Heller (Gray Tide in the East) explores this fascinating subject using the tool of counterfactual analysis, instead of uninformed opinion, to look for an answer in Decision at Antietam. As always, Heller rests his arguments on solid research of the historical records and the works of reputable historians, both scholarly and popular, to which he adds his own imaginative, yet authentic, eyewitness accounts. A seamless blend of fiction and fact, Decision at Antietam is a convincing and very readable narrative history of a Civil War that might have been.

      • Great adventure story. Lots of twists and turns. Worth a read. A bit
more descriptive sex would have enhanced each character. 5 out of 5

SYNOPSIS

They say everything comes in threes. Here’s three rib tickling tales featuring three characters in three very different time periods and situations.

Kelly’s Full House is a great short story collection that will lift your spirits and help get you through your day by dealing with some of the most taboo subjects – The Press, death and politics.

1. 127 Alden Road

It’s July 1st, 2017 in Provincetown Massachusetts, original landing place of the Pilgrims. Abigail Helmsworth, town librarian and charter member of the Ladies of New England Social Organization for Massachusetts History, (LONESOME’s for short), is doing some spring cleaning in the Herman Melville Memorial Library when she comes across a document. A document from 1775. A document apparently signed by the Big Man himself – George Washington!

The possible implications of this document are not at all lost on the town’s 2,427 residents. In just under three days 60,000 tourists will invade this Mecca of U.S. history to celebrate the Fourth of July. The document, if certified to be authentic, could mean tens of thousands in revenue for the tiny hamlet.

2. Dr. Lindsay’s Christmas

At 87 years of age Dr. Jonathan Lindsay, a Dublin native, dedicated pediatrician and devout Catholic his entire life, has just lost his wife of over sixty years and, for the first time finds himself alone on Christmas Eve, 1987.

Reluctant to return to an empty house he takes a stroll up O’Connell Street to enjoy the gaily decorated holiday ornaments, lights and displays.

3. Luck & Fame Are Four Letter Words

A new president has taken the reins, the Space Race is in full swing and the economy is at its peak since end of the war. It’s 1961 and the future looks bright.

However the entire country is not running on greased groves. Rank Publishing Ltd., in New York City is hanging on by a thread. With the advent of automated printing, a television in nearly every home and newspaper circulation up almost tenfold since the end of the war, news stories are cheaper and more readily available. The new sensation is supermarket tabloids and magazine circulation is plummeting!

Luck & Fame examines the roll luck and hype play in achieving fame because, no matter how much talent you may have, Luck and Fame are Four Letter Words.
